Founded in 1971, Boksburg Driving School has been a cornerstone of driver education in Boksburg, Gauteng. Over the past five decades, we have grown to become one of the East Rand’s most reputable driving schools, helping countless students achieve driving success.

This is a tribute to the late Vino Moodley,
who was the soul of Boksburg Driving School. Having completed a teacher’s diploma in 1970, Vino started his journey in this industry in August 1971 and eventually took over as the sole owner of Boksburg Driving School. His dedication and hard work were instrumental in the success of the school. Vino was known for leaving for the office in the early morning and returning in the late afternoon, come rain or shine. His passion for the business was evident in every aspect, from the meticulous maintenance of his vehicles to the respectful treatment of his clients.
He made it possible for other driving schools to hire his code 14 vehicles to assist them with their code 14 clients. This was a trait whereby he was selfless and didn’t monopolize the code 14 in its entirety. He enabled other driving schools to reap the benefits the industry has to offer.
After Vino’s passing in 2018, the business has continued to thrive under the management of his family and dedicated employees. In 2016 and 2018, Vino expanded the school’s fleet with brand new Dyna Code 10 trucks and Code 14 trucks, making Boksburg Driving School the only driving school in the area with such advanced vehicles. His legacy lives on in the quality of training we provide and the success of our students.
